Terms of service
These terms cover organizers who create events on Rowdio and guests who register, RSVP, sponsor, or pay through it. By using Rowdio you agree to them.
What Rowdio is
Rowdio provides event pages, registration and payment, sponsor management, and messaging tools. Events are created and run by their organizers. Rowdio is not the host, seller, or promoter of any event and does not control what happens at one.
Organizer accounts
- You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the organization you create. You are responsible for everyone you add as an admin.
- Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if it is compromised.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your event page, for delivering what you sell, and for your own refund policy. Rowdio will process refunds you approve.
Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Money paid to an organizer goes to that organizer’s connected account; Rowdio does not hold it.
- Rowdio charges a platform fee on paid registrations, shown before you publish. Card processing fees are set by Stripe. Organizers may let buyers cover these fees.
- Organizers must comply with Stripe’s terms and with the law, including any tax and charitable receipt obligations.
Messaging
- Organizers may message only people who registered for their event, only about that event, and only through Rowdio’s tools, which record consent and honor STOP.
- No purchased lists, no cold outreach, no reselling of contact information, and no content that is unlawful, deceptive, or abusive.
- Rowdio may suspend messaging for an organizer whose messages draw complaints or violate carrier rules.
Guests
When you register, you agree to the organizer’s terms for the event, including their refund policy. Your personal information is handled as described in the privacy policy and, for texts, the SMS terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use Rowdio to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, harass people, distribute malware, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation. Do not create events you do not have the authority to run.
Content and ownership
You own what you upload, including logos and event descriptions, and you give Rowdio a license to display and distribute it as needed to run your event, including in the graphics and messages Rowdio generates for you. Rowdio owns the service, its design, and its software.
Disclaimers and liability
Rowdio is provided as is. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for what happens at an event or for an organizer’s conduct. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rowdio’s total liability to you for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending an account
You can stop using Rowdio at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms. Sections about payments already made, content licenses for events already run, disclaimers, and liability survive.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. If we change them in a way that matters, we will post the new version with a new effective date and tell organizers by email. Questions go to help@rowdio.app.
